An Autoclave Sterilizer is a medical device used to sterilize equipment and supplies allowing the products to be used by the physician from one patient to another, reducing the risk of cross contamination. Autoclaves are most commonly used in Medical and Dental Practices but are also widely used in Lab, Veterinarian, Tattoo, Nail and Massage settings. The sterilization process of an Autoclave works by subjecting the items to be sterilized to intense heat via steam. Many states have instituted guidelines for testing the effectiveness of an autoclave on a regular basis.
